Hands on Chicken Processing Class

Join us on the farm for some chicken processing education. We will be working in a small class size, leaving time for one-on-one instruction. This class is best suited for those getting into chickens, thinking of getting into chickens, want to expand into raising meat chickens, or just want to be more connected with their food sources. We provide all the materials. Each participant/couple will take home one of our certified soy free & corn free organic chickens they process themselves (of course we will help!). We will discuss raising chickens, feeding chickens, and why we raise heritage breeds. Join us for this hands on class, built around you gaining experience on chicken processing. One time class of Sunday, November 15 starting at 11 am. We will meet in our barn kitchen, 3rd right on Popa Rd. 564 Popa Rd, just past the main Farm entrance.

Attire: Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. This is a farm and as such dirt, mud, and weeds are everywhere! Wear footwear you don’t mind standing in for a period of time.

Feel free to bring snacks/drinks that you like. Sandwiches, chips and drinks will be available.
