We have had the wonderful experience of meeting Vera, Meg, Dustin, Tim, and Corey during the filming process of the show this April! We will be on Season 10 episode 22 of the Very Vera show. This lovely cooking show was filmed to highlight cooking with honey and R and R Acres. We may be partial, but we think her 10th year filming will be the best!
Approximately 8 months ago, we met a producer for the show when she purchased honey from us at a market in Charleston SC. She emailed us some time after visiting our booth, telling us how much she loved the honey and would like to highlight honey in some recipes. We loved this idea! Emails back and forth, so much planning, so much to put together. I never knew how much work was involved in these productions. We decided to plan for an April filming because we wanted to show Vera the bees. We needed the warmer temperatures that April could bring. The filming day was a simply gorgeous day.
The team from the show were able to visit the bees, goats, brand new chicks, emus, cows and more. The entire team was so helpful and detailed. We can not wait to see the final result airing towards the end of May on various channels, keep reading on to see the stations near you. This was a wonderful experience to share more of what we do here on the farm. My daughter Trinity and son Steven did wonderful helping to show our products and keeping the animals entertained.
We thank the Very Vera team for their professionalism, enthusiasm, and kindness in this experience. Check out our recipe page for more ways to use honey!
