honey hot toddy

1 oz Bourbon

1 tablespoon Honey

2 teaspoons Lemon juice

1/4 boiling water

Add first three ingredients to a 6 oz mug, heat your water and add to the cup and mix well. Garnish with a lemon round

Honey Lemonade with whiskey

1 gallon Lemonade

8-9 ounces Jack Daniels or your favorite whiskey

1/4 cup Honey

2 Lemons, sliced

handful of fresh mint

Mix all items together and stir, let sit for an hour. Stir again before serving

apple cinnamon creamed honey cocktail *our favorite*

8 oz jar of our Cinnamon Creamed Honey.

6 cups Honey crisp apples, sliced, set a couple slices aside for garnish

2 teaspoons ground clove

2 teaspoons nutmeg

water-just enough to cover apples in your slower cooker

Vodka- variable to your personal taste 6-12 ounces should be plenty :)

  1. Heat honey in slow cooker until it begins to bubble.

  2. Add apples and cover with water. Cook on high for three hours.

  3. Mash warm fruit, add spices, and let simmer for another hour. Stir in vodka toward the end.

  4. Strain cider and serve with apple slices. You can also add lots of apple slices floating in your slow cooker for extra flavor.

  5. Enjoy hot or cold.

honey and ginger tonic (think flu season)

1 piece ginger, peeled and coarsely chopped. ( may use more or less for personal taste

1 cup water

1/2 lemon

1-2 teaspoons honey

1-2 ounces of whiskey

To make: Add first four ingredients to a sauce pan and bring to a simmer. Use small strainer to pour liquid through when transferring to your cup. Add the whiskey.

Elderberry syrup in the quick cooker

2 Cups dried elderberries

6 cups water

2 cinnamon sticks

1 orange, zested and juices

½ lemon, zested and juices

1 tbsp vanilla paste or real vanilla

1” piece of ginger

½ cup Raw Honey

1.       Place elderberries, water, cinnamon sticks, ginger and vanilla into the Quick Cooker.

2.       Zest the orange and the lemon. Juice the orange and the lemon. Throw all including the remaining orange and lemon into the pot after juicing. It will melt down and all the parts of the fruit will flavor the syrup.

3.       Seal the Quick Cooker and set to “Custom” on “High Pressure” for 7 minutes.

4.       Once timer goes off, release pressure and strain into a sieve over a bowl.  Squeeze mixture through a sieve with the back of a spoon until no more liquid comes out. Discard pulp.

5.       Return syrup to Quick cooker and set to sear and boil down to @ half volume.

6.       When syrup has cooled to room temperature add honey. Add more or less to your personal preference.

7.       Pour into a refrigerator safe container. Drink each morning to boost immunity!
